Solo Cup project backed by community groups as petition surfaces

Several Baltimore County community groups are pushing back against a campaign to block redevelopment of the 52-acre Solo Cup plant in Owings Mills.

Pikesville resident Ruth Goldstein, the president of the Greater Midfield Association, is urging Baltimore County residents not to sign a petition that would trigger a November 2014 referendum on the project.
