Smithsonian to reopen one of National Mall's oldest buildings

The Smithsonian Institution said on Wednesday that it has plans to create an innovation pavilion with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in the Arts and Industries Building, one of the oldest buildings on the National Mall, WTOP reported.

The 132-year-old building has been closed since 2004 due to structural issues and has been undergoing repairs.
