Sinclair to pay $370M for 18 TV stations

Sinclair Broadcast Group, the Hunt Valley-based television station owner and programmer, will pay $370 million to buy 18 stations from Barrington Broadcasting Group.

The deal, announced Thursday, comes three days after Sinclair (NASDAQ: SBGI) said it is buying four Cox Media stations for $99 million and forming a new division to operate its stations in smaller markets.
