Shock and sue: Judge OKs woman’s lawsuit against Maryland 

A Baltimore woman who claims she suffered a debilitating shock while being scanned in a city circuit court building by a metal-detecting wand may pursue a lawsuit against Maryland, alleging violations of her constitutional right to due process and her statutory right to reasonable accommodations under the federal Americans with Disabilities Act, a federal judge has ruled.
