Senate 'cliff' deal would delay spending cuts
Immediate economic impact in Maryland likely to be small
A deal emerging in Congress to address the nation's fiscal crisis would have a negligible economic impact on Maryland in the short term, but it would prolong the uncertainty federal contractors and government employees in the state have been dealing with for at least several more months.
