Rotunda's $70M residential, retail expansion approved by city panel

Baltimore City's Urban Design and Architecture Review has approved a $70 million redevelopment of the Rotunda office and shopping center in Hampden, the Baltimore Business Journal reported.

Hekemian & Co., the Rotunda's owner, wants to add 382 apartment and townhouse units and 140,000 square feet of retail space in two separate buildings on what is now the Rotunda's rear parking lot.
