A-Rod tops list of highest paid MLB players; Orioles' Markakis is No. 16

Business Insider published a list of the highest-paid players on each of the 30 Major League Baseball teams. New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez leads the field at $28 million this year.

Baltimore Orioles right fielder Nick Markakis ranks No. 16 with a 2013 salary of $15 million. Markakis is in the fifth year of a six-year contract worth $66.1 million.
