Ripkens look to expand youth tourney business across country

Cal Ripken Jr. and Bill Ripken are looking to expand their youth baseball tournament model, as well as shake up their own minor league franchise.

Ripken Baseball, an organization founded by the Ripken brothers, has owned the Aberdeen IronBirds since 2002. The organization also owns the Augusta GreenJackets in Georgia and the Charlotte Stone Crabs in North Carolina.
