Restaurants reduce portions, add healthy options
The number of restaurants offering healthy options on their menus has increased by more than 2,000 percent during the last couple years, The New York Times reported, citing a website that tracks restaurant menus.
The move likely has come, in part, because of the Affordable Care Act, which includes a provision requiring restaurants with 20 or more locations to include calorie counts on their menus by 2014. But, The Times reported, many restaurants are finding the popularity of healthy menu items…
