Report: Baltimore Sun could be put up for sale
The Baltimore Sun could be put up for sale by owner Tribune Co., Bloomberg News reports.
Tribune, which filed for bankruptcy protection four years ago, is preparing to exit Chapter 11, and is interviewing bankers about selling some of its papers, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.
Tribune owns the Baltimore Sun, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times and five other daily papers. It gained the Baltimore Sun when owner Times Mirror Co. merged with Tribune in 2000.
Tribune may exit bankruptcy…
