Ravens to open 2013 season on road after failing to reach deal with Orioles
The Baltimore Ravens will open their 2013 season on the road after failing to reach a deal with the neighboring Orioles on rescheduling a Sept. 5 home game against the Chicago White Sox.
The Ravens, being the reigning Super Bowl champions, were expected to open the 2013 NFL season at home on Sept. 5 in a nationally televised game. The team worked with the Orioles, White Sox, NFL and Major League Baseball to have the O’s 7:05 p.m. game rescheduled to an earlier time, but no deal was reached.
