Ravens fans flock to Super Bowl for 'experience of a lifetime'

NEW ORLEANS — Thousands of Baltimore Ravens fans started flocking to the Big Easy on Thursday, anxious for the team’s first Super Bowl appearance in 12 years and hungry for a taste of Southern cuisine and Bourbon Street cocktails.

A steady stream of purple passed through the gates at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, many enjoying a Bloody Mary or beer — resisting the urge of waiting until New Orleans to get the party started.
