Push is on for flat rate for taxis serving Port of Baltimore

Are cruise passengers at the Port of Baltimore being taken for a ride by taxi drivers?

The Maryland Port Administration is seeking state permission to establish a flat rate for taxis that serve the Port of Baltimore. The request stems from passenger complaints that they are being overcharged for cab fare leaving the port’s South Locust Point cruise terminal, said James J. White, executive director of the Maryland Port Administration.
