President Obama asks governors to urge Congress to avoid sequestration

President Barack Obama hopes to enlist the nation's governors as lobbyists against sequestration in the few days left before $85 billion in federal spending cuts kick in, The Business Journals reported.

"While you're in town, I hope you will speak to your congressional delegation," Obama told members of the National Governors Association at a White House meeting Monday.
