Pending home sales fall
Fewer houses and condos on the market gets the blame for a drop in pending home sales in December, according to the National Association of Realtors.
The Washington-based trade group says pending sales, or contracts signed but sales not yet closed, fell 4.3 percent from November, though pending sales remained 6.9 percent above year-ago levels.
