Osiris shares soar 35% on smaller-than-expected loss
Shares of Osiris Therapeutics Inc. rose by more than a third Wednesday after the company's fourth-quarter loss came in smaller than expected.
The Columbia stem cell developer reported a loss of $2.6 million, or 8 cents per share, during the quarter. That compares with a profit of $5 million, or 15 cents per share, during the same quarter last year.
