Orioles to begin using Apple's Passbook ticketing app
The Baltimore Orioles will accept mobile tickets through Apple’s passbook app starting in 2013, according to a report from technology website GigaOM.
Passbook, released by Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) in September, allows users to purchase and store tickets on mobile devices. Ushers will then scan the fan’s mobile device, instead of a paper ticket, before they enter Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
