NPOs have till Jan. 21 to apply for Sandy relief

Private nonprofits located in Baltimore City and four surrounding counties that suffered damage from Hurricane Sandy have until Jan. 21 to apply for loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The SBA is offering up to $2 million in SBA-backed loans for nonprofits to use for repairing or replacing real estate, equipment, machinery, inventory or other business assets as a result of the Oct. 29 superstorm.
