Murdered woman was under police protection from alleged killer

Victim and suspect had a brief relationship years ago, court records say

The woman stabbed to death in her Garrison apartment this week was under police protection and had filed a peace order against her alleged killer at the time of her murder, Baltimore County Police confirmed Thursday.
