Mortgage rates not moving

Mortgage rates show no sign of moving much from the near-record lows they've held for the last year.

Freddie Mac's weekly rate report puts the average rate on a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage at 3.52 percent in the week ending March 7, up from 3.51 percent last week. A 15-year fix averaged 2.76 percent this week, unchanged from last week.

A one-year adjustable rate mortgage averaged 2.63 percent this week, down from 2.64 percent.
