Morgan State regents reverse course, extend president's contract

Morgan State University's Board of Regents decided Friday to hold on to President David Wilson for one more year, the Baltimore Business Journal reported.

The board voted in a closed meeting Dec. 4 to not renew Wilson’s contract, but after a meeting Friday in which faculty, community members and students spoke out in favor of Wilson, the board opted to extend his contract.
