More wealthy buyers going off-market to find homes

Off-market homebuying — or, deals for homes that aren't listed on the Multiple Listing Services — is on the rise, Forbes reports. The trend especially is picking up among the wealthy. For example, Forbes cites a $117.5 million deal in Woodside, Calif., that closed in November but didn't appear in public records until January.
