Montgomery County's plan to restore former Lockheed CEO's property disputed by Park Service

Last year, after Bob Stevens, the former CEO of Bethesda-based Lockheed Martin Corp. clear-cut more than an acre of protected land near his Potomac home, Montgomery County officials fined him and pledged to come up with a plan that would force him to reforest the area. Now the National Park Service is saying the county's plan not only fails to fix the damage but allows Stevens a better view than he had before, The Washington Post reported.
