Montgomery County dedicates attorney to focus on utility issues

In its ongoing battles with Pepco over the utility company's requests for more money, Montgomery County has appointed an in-house county to focus on the issue, the Gazette reported.

Lisa Brennan will serve as an assistant county attorney to focus on utility issues for Montgomery County. As the Gazette reported, Montgomery County up to this point used both outside legal counsel and its county attorneys to fight against Pepco’s in proceedings before the Maryland Public Service Commission.
