Medifast acting finance chief stepping down
Edward Powers plans to step down as interim chief financial officer of Owings Mills-based Medifast Inc., the company announced this week.
He is leaving effective Jan. 4, less than two months after assuming the post.
According to the company, Powers is leaving to accept a job in the construction tool industry. No other details were available.
Michael C. MacDonald, chairman and CEO of the weight-loss company, has named Joseph Kellerman new interim CFO.
