Mayor's top lobbyist leaves City Hall for Housing Dept.

Baltimore City's chief lobbyist in Annapolis, a friend of Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake since childhood, is leaving her post to take a position in the city Housing Department, where she worked previously, the Baltimore Sun reported Monday.

Kim Washington, who has been close friends with the mayor since they met in kindergarten at Grace and St. Peter's School, declined to comment on her reasons for leaving the Rawlings-Blake Administration.
