Massive mixed-use development planned near Baltimore's Penn Station

Beatty Development Group LLC is planning a $500 million mixed-use development near Baltimore's Penn Station, the Baltimore Sun reported.

The plan would bring about 1.5 million square feet of new residences and commercial space to the city's Station North neighborhood.

The Business Journal in August reported Amtrak had selected developer Michael Beatty — then a part of Harbor East Development Gropu LLC — to redevelop property near the train station.
