Maryland to train workers for planned Red, Purple line projects

The state’s transit department and labor agency are teaming to find and train construction workers for the planned multibillion-dollar Red and Purple line projects.

The training will focus in jobs for heavy equipment operators, electricians, cement and brickmasons, carpenters and ironworkers.
