Maryland Science Center generates $34M in economic impact

The Maryland Science Center at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor generates a $34 million annual economic impact for the state, a new study shows.

A report by the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development found that the Science Center directly annually creates $18.9 million in spending, $8.5 million in employee income and the equivalent of about 300 full-time jobs.

The center also generates $15.1 million in indirect spending and indirectly supports 104 jobs.
