Maryland medspa oversight bills debated in Annapolis

Debate over tighter regulations for Maryland medical spas heated up Thursday at a House Health and Government Operations Committee meeting.

Bills in the House and Senate are taking aim at the facilities, often called medspas, after a string of infections at a Timonium medspa left one woman dead last fall.
