Maryland credit unions see 3.8% lending hike in 4Q

Lending by Maryland credit unions rose in the fourth quarter, while the percentage of delinquent loans remained the same as in the first quarter, according to figures released by the industry’s national regulator.

Credit union lending increased 3.8 percent year over year in the final three months of 2012, placing Maryland 36th among the 50 states, the National Credit Union Administration said.
