Maryland combined reporting bill aims to ease small business taxes

A state delegate from Montgomery County wants to implement combined tax reporting in Maryland and use the additional revenue that would be collected to ease the tax burden on small businesses in the state.

House Bill 1158 would create a rebate for small businesses to reduce the personal property tax they pay on their machinery, equipment, inventory and other personal property.
