Maryland casinos outline plans for 24 hour-a-day gaming
The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Commission on Thursday approved allowing casinos to operate 24 hours a day and state casinos said they will expand quickly into round-the-clock gambling.
Hollywood Casino in Perryville plans to start 24/7 operations on weekends beginning Dec. 28, General Manager Bill Hayles said. The Cecil County casino may open around the clock during the week, too, once it adds table games in spring 2013, Hayles said.
