Maryland awards $5.5M in community improvement grants
Greater Baltimore nonprofits will receive $1.79 million of the $5.5 million in Community Legacy grants awarded Wednesday by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development.
The grants provide local governments and community development organizations funding for community projects that attract businesses, encourage homeownership and help with commercial revitalization.
