Maryland adds 4,900 jobs in December; unemployment rate holds steady
Maryland gained 4,900 jobs in December, reversing course from a month before and keeping the state’s unemployment rate steady at 6.6 percent.
Maryland's private sector created 7,700 jobs during the month, the state's best December for private sector job growth since 1990.
