LPGA eyes Baltimore-area businesses to sponsor 2014 event at Caves Valley

The Ladies Professional Golf Association is hoping to use its international connections to bring out Baltimore sponsors for the 2014 International Crown tournament at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills.

The tournament, which features teams of golfers from eight countries, will be the first professional golf tournament in Greater Baltimore since the LPGA Championship at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace in 2009. The Baltimore Country Club also hosted the men’s Senior Players Championship…
