Lockheed Martin consolidates corporate functions

Lockheed Martin Corp. CEO Marillyn Hewson announced plans to consolidate several corporate functions that report to her at the company's Bethesda headquarters, which will reportedly result in the elimination of about 50 jobs, the Washington Business Journal reported.

Hewson informed employees in a memo that Enterprise Business Services and Corporate Internal Audit will become part of Finance & Business Operations, led by Chief Financial Officer Bruce Tanner.
