LifeBridge may expand geriatric surgery program to Northwest
A new program for elderly patients at Sinai Hospital may soon spread to LifeBridge Health’s other hospitals, as demand for surgeries for seniors grows.
Sinai Hospital in September launched its Center for Geriatric Surgery, a program designed to add an extra layer of precaution to pre-surgery preparations for elderly patients, who are at higher risk of infections and other complications.
