Kirby Fowler named chair of Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Commission
Kirby Fowler, the president of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore Inc., has been selected as the first chairman of the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Commission.
The seven-member group was created as part of a gambling expansion law signed by Gov. Martin O’Malley earlier this year. The new commission will have enhanced gaming oversight responsibilities.
