Justice Dept. sues S&P over ratings

Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has been sued by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The Justice Department alleged the firm ignored its own standards, giving its seal of approval to toxic investments at the heart of the financial crisis.
