Johns Hopkins taps Va.-based Armada Hoffler to develop Charles Village site

Johns Hopkins University has selected Virginia-based development firm Armada Hoffler Development Co. and Baltimore developer Michael Beatty to build a retail and residential complex on a site in Charles Village.

The 1.13-acre site at the corner southwest corner of 33rd and St. Paul streets is owned by the school. Armada Hoffler — which was the construction firm for the building of Harbor East —Beatty Development Group and Skye Hospitality will develop the project, which includes a parking garage.
