Johns Hopkins, Stevenson presidents among highest paid at private colleges
Johns Hopkins University President Ronald J. Daniels ranked 16th on the Chronicle of Higher Education’s list of top paid private college executives.
Daniels earned $1.27 million in 2010, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education. The chronicle ranks officials based on total compensation, which includes bonuses, non-taxable benefits such as health insurance and other pay, in addition to base salary. Daniels’ base salary was $826,277 in 2010, according to the report.
