Jeffrey Aronson to chair Johns Hopkins University board of trustees

Jeffrey H. Aronson, the head of a New York investment firm, has been elected to chair Johns Hopkins University’s board of trustees.

Aronson, a 1980 graduate of Hopkins, will be the 16th chair in the school’s 136-year history. He replaces Citi Foundation CEO Pamela P. Flaherty, who has led the board for the last six years. Aronson begins the role on July 1, after the end of the 2012-2013 academic year.
