Inner Harbor carousel making a return
A fixture of many Baltimoreans’ childhoods is making a comeback at the Inner Harbor.
Charm City Carousel Entertainment LLC was selected as the operator of a new carousel near the Maryland Science Center in spring 2013.
The Stevensville company will operate a 34-foot in diameter carousel that features 30 animals and two chariots. Charm City will pay the city $50,000 annually in rent to operate the attraction. The deal is contingent on approval by the Board of Estimates.
