Howard's Deli files for bankruptcy

Howard’s Deli at 900 Cathedral St. has filed for bankruptcy. The restaurant owes $71,260 to creditors, according to the Chapter 11 filing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Baltimore from Feb. 6.

Baltimore Gas and Electric is the largest creditor with a $25,460 claim against the restaurant.

Evan J. Feldman, attorney for Howard’s Deli president Darren K. Palitti, could not be reached for comment.
