House votes to keep the government open

The U.S. House of Representatives voted 267-151 Wednesday afternoon to fund the federal government through Sept. 30, The Business Journals reported.

The current bill funding the federal government expires March 27. If the House and Senate don't agree on another temporary funding bill by then, most of the federal government would be forced to shut down.
