House group will explore ways to improve Maryland business climate
House Speaker Michael E. Busch has created a working committee of members of the House of Delegates to come up with ways to bolster Maryland's economy and improve the climate for businesses in the state.
Among the things the 10-member group — nine Democrats and one Republican — will look at are industries that could benefit from more private-sector investment, ways to develop more investment in infrastructure projects, and strategies for cutting red tape for companies.
