Hostess to sell off bread brands Wonder Bread and Twinkies

As Hostess Brands Inc. tries to sell off its assets under bankruptcy court oversight, the makers of Thomas' English Muffins and Tastykake snacks are emerging as two of the major bidders, the Wall Street Journal reported Sunday.

The sale of Hostess's bread brands could fetch more than $350 million, according to the Journal report.
