Hopkins help students clean up 'online footprints'

Johns Hopkins University is among major U.S. institutions of higher learning that are providing students with a tool to scrub their "online footprints," the Miami Herald reported.

The colleges believe one of the most important things students should do before graduating and entering the job-search market is to clean up their online profile. As described by one administrator, "We call it the grandma test — if you don't want her to see it, you probably don't want an employer to, either."
