Hammond, Gary among 16 seeking Anne Arundel executive position

Noon Friday application deadline passes

As the filing deadline passed, 16 people had applied to succeed John R. Leopold as Anne Arundel County executive, with the man filling in temporarily announcing his candidacy Friday morning.
